BoBo's & Wallasey Schoolwear |

From Cot to Classroom
In April 2004 a new, family-run business was established in Magazine Lane, New Brighton.
Owned and managed by Angela Cavell it was named BoBo’s, and the idea was to provide traditional, hand-made baby-wear. As demand increased the shop relocated to Seabank Road and began to sell children’s Special Occasion wear for Christenings, Confirmation and the like. Angela was contacted by Graco (Pram manufacturers) and became a stockist of their range.
In 2006 BoBo’s became the approved supplier for uniforms to New Brighton Primary School, and since then, due to the closure of other uniform suppliers in Wallasey, the major provider of school gear for all the local schools.
Finally relocating to its current place at 242 Rake Lane, Angela decided to concentrate on the building up of the school side of the business, whilst still providing quality clothing for special occasions. This now not only includes uniforms for both nursery and secondary schools, but also for Brownies, Guides and Scouts.
Angela says, “My aim is to provide high quality, low cost wear for the schools in Wallasey. I’m very proud to be able to link so closely with the local schools, and want to give the community a service that is friendly, reliable and, above all, great value.”
As a result of the increasing emphasis in providing uniforms Angela has decided to rename the shop as “BoBo’s and Wallasey School-wear”. Whilst still providing great quality clothing for those special occasions, this is the place to come to for any and all of your Wallasey school-wear needs. |
